Margaret Fulton Grant Application

The Association for Women in Post Secondary Education envisions women supporting women, working together cooperatively to develop and maintain an accessible environment for personal growth through study and work.

WPSE is providing three grants to individuals or groups who have an event, research project or other endeavor that addresses one of the following goals. There will be two awards of $500 and one award of $1000. Our goals are: to promote equity of opportunity and excellence in leadership for women in post-secondary education, to advocate for career and personal development of women in PSE and to provide information, support and encouragement for women to take leadership roles in post-secondary.

WPSE will award funds based on the following considerations:

  • " The project reflects one of WPSE's goals as noted above or from the brochure/website.
  • It can be for seed money for research or an event or even a celebration.
  • It will reach women in a particular college/university/institution or even cross over several organizations (research would be provincially shared).
  • It will recognize WPSE as a partner in the project.
  • There will be a commitment to sharing the results in one of the following venues:
    1. WPSE newsletter      2. wpsetalk      3. WPSE website

Who's eligible?

  • Women in post-secondary education in British Columbia
  • Either the applicant is a WPSE member or her institution has an institutional membership

How do you apply?

  • Provide a half to full page description of the intended project and include any budget
  • Describe how the project/event will impact women in post-secondary education
  • Include a timeline
  • Submit to:
